Developed Thumbnails
After thinking about different thumbnails and different possibilities i felt it was only right to create some more developed thumbnails where i thought more about the composition and of the placement of the furniture
Below shows the first thumbnail i developed looking at the idea of seeing a different body type on social media and in our current world would not be seen as good enough. I then added this by surrounding the phone with diet pills and tape measure to show the negative effects that it can lead do. I do like this idea and do feel it has a really strong message however after a discussion i felt it was seen as rather negative and seemed to shame the more ideal body type instead
we should be supporting all bodies as we are all different and that is okay.
For the second thumbnail i really wanted to think about that idea of looking at how all bodies are beautiful and how we should not judge one or the other. Therefore i created this polaroid composition that reflects the idea of Instagram with the pictures of a range of different bodies within the pictures. I particularly like this design and love how the composition works with the furniture. I also like the contrasting colours of the pink and the red and altouigh this was just used for sketching purposes i would love to find a way to add this in to my final piece.
For the final thumbnails i wanted to look at something a bit more personal and decided to think about how i could create a character that would reflect how others feel. Therefore, in this thumbnail you can see a girl staring back at her self in the mirror whilst she has collection of photos on the wall with different types so instead of feeling she should look like them she feels influenced that all bodies are okay.
Overall i was happy with how the thumbnails turned out and think they all could work however next, i need to think about how i could develop these further to create an effective message.
