My World Activity

My World Illustration

As part of the reportage project we were given the task in class to create a drawing inspired by ourselves and the world we live in. THe idea of this activity was us to create a world style drawing with some objects and elements that best describe us and our life. 

Therefore for my piece i began by sketching out my circle base before adding in the decorative elements. I decided to add some fun nature style elements, i feel nature is really important to myself as well as often appearing in my own work. I therefore felt it was important to add into my world as also it would compliment my overall composition.  As well as the nature elements i included some symbols and drawings of other elements that i like for example my dog, my paints and my switch. I really liked how it looked i do wish i could work out a composition where i could add more things without it feeling too crowded however, i still feel it is successful. 

Overall I am really happy with how this turned out as feel it did communicate who i was, it i was to move forward i would think about developing it further maybe adding some colour and further details to really bring the piece to life.
